Your husband cannot influence a visa decision. Also, the visa office does not take calls from applicants/sponsors.

If your husband wants to stop your mom from coming over, he would need to cancel his sponsorship/financial support for her super visa before the visa is issued.

It's possible that the delay is due to holidays

Just wanna share something with you,,,my mom receive call from VFS stating that her passport envelop sitting on reception it hasn't been deliver to Canadian embassy as she didn't mention on the envelop to which embassy that passport needed to go. she is going tomorrow to delhi to handover passport physically,,,, as its now more then 30 days and Canadian embassy gave us 30 days to submit passport,,,whats gonna happen now ,,,any suggestion please!!!

I am worrying because the passport request letter says " you passport must be received by citizenship and immigration Canada with in 30 days from the date of this letter. Failure to do so could be result in the refusal of your application". :-(

If it helps:
We have come across a couple of similar cases where the applicant did not receive the passport request email (online applications) or if VFS did not inform the applicant for some additional documents. In these situations, the visa office allowed additional time for the passports to be submitted beyond the stated 30 days.

Did you email/send a CSE earlier to ask the visa office about the status of your mom's application?

I suggest you immediately email the NDVO about the situation. I don't understand why her passport was not forwarded to the visa office by VFS staff. These VFS guys know to which visa office the passports must be forwarded, and not your mom
