Passport Stamping at CHC,New Delhi for PR applicant in Canada

Hi Friends,

Need your valuable suggestions for my below queries.

1.I got my PPR on Oct25th-2014 & I need to send my passport to CPP-Ottawa, But now I am in India.
I informed CIC regarding this & requested them to provide instructions to get my visa stamped at CHC, New Delhi, India.
Awaiting their response. Did anyone had the same situation in recent past?
If so please let me know the time taken for the response from CIC.

2.My second query is regarding my passport validity. My passport is valid upto Jan2016.
If my passport got stamped on Jan2015, I will get my PR visa only for a year?
Generally for how many years a PR visa will be issue??...I mean initially for 6months/1year/3years??

you will get a reply withing 21 days.
and generally pr/immigrant visa is for maximum one year and for single entry only.. after that u get yur pr card.

Visa is valid fro one year from the date you have done your medicals . IF you are asking about PR card its valid for 5 years the day you Land.

Time frame of response is not fixed to be frankly speaking.
