Looks like it takes 1 to 2 weeks in average for cpc-Ottawa to return passports.
has anyone whose passports were delivered on 26 Sep got the cic a/c approved yet?

Usually it takes 2 weeks, you’re lucky if you receive yours less than that. You need the expiry date of the COPR to make an appointment.
Yes I am in ontario. I am in Totornto so my interview was scheduled for Etobicoke. They will schedule at nearest possible location to the address you provide.
You can request an appointment the day you get passports.
I actually sent it the day my return tracker got activated. You only need COPR expiry date which is available in CIC account when your application is approved

I received my passport yesterday and already emailed IRCC for appointment on d 3rd unfortunately I have not received any feedback yet, hopefully next week.
Wow it has been over 3 weeks for you! Have you called IRCC and what did they told you if you called? I sent my passport on Sep 24th and was received on 25th, so far there's no update, I don't want to wait another 2 weeks to get my passport back
I got similar issue, I sent on Sept 11, they received on Sept 12... But I am receiving the passports and the COPR until today (oct 07)...
I called the CIC like three times because nothing was moving and I was worried about it.. on the last call they told me that they registered the passport on their system as received on Sept 23, and the processing times start counting from that date and not from Sept 12...
The agent was very friendly and told me that there was a batch of passports affected with that delay.
I would recommend you to call the CIC, and they will give you the real update about your passport.. Remember to have you case number and the tracking number for the documents when you sent it (the agent asked me about it on my last call to confirm the reception of the documents)..

I called to CIC on 27th Sep - the agent said it is on the line to be printed
Called to CIC on 31st Sep - the agent said just wait
Sent an email to Ottawa office on 2nd Oct - got a reply on 4th Oct, they said they recieved our document and as soon as it is completed we will send.
Called to CIC on 3rd Oct - agent said it has been three week so she will send an email to the office.
Called to CIC on 7th Oct (today) - agent said it is registered on 3rd Oct.
Fucking idiots. Actually you know, this is not a very difficult work. Simple and easy. They never get fired and I can imagine they always talk and laugh. Fucking. After getting COPR I will file a complaint.
