Passport sent to ottawa 2019 after ppr

Hey guys where do you check the status exactly? On the application itself? I sent my passport on July 17, but there is no updates and status is the same as half a year ago.
Also what options do you choose when you call CIC? Whatever I choose just takes me to automated voice recording and doesn’t give me an option to speak to a representative

There's no harm calling CIC. The number is 1-888-242-2100

I called them today, asking if they could confirm receipt of my passport. It turns out it's too soon and they haven't opened the envelope yet, so the agent could not see any notes for my application, from the Ottawa Office.
I contacted Canada Post to know the name of the person who signed the delivery proof, a person called Schuiteboer signed, which made me feel less anxious, to be honest.

My passport has been delivered on July 4th, so our timeline is pretty close.

Can you please share what numbers/options you press when you call them. I only get automated messages and don’t get option to talk to a representative.thank u!
