I actually have a question, do we not receive a soft copy of CO-PR to our account when the application is approved .. ??
You will get a copy of COPR along with your passport via your return envelope (nothing will come via online). In Online account, you will see the passport info along with your one time visa expiry.

Today the agent told me its in the printing room for printing visa.Any idea how long it will take to get the passport ?
First you will see an update on online account stating golden words "Approved" once they do stamping on your spouse's passport. I believe your passport already should be stamped. Because I along with other applicant whose passport got delivered on March 13th, heir application approved Today/before.

Once you see application approved, it depends but you will see return tracker activated usually after 1-5 day. So please keep checking your return tracker.

For those who are already landed

Can I quit my current job while I’m still waiting for my PR card?

Any idea?
Thanks

Yes you can. There is no co-relation between your PR card vs your current job. FYI - While waiting for your PR card, you can't leave the country until you received it.

Just let me clarify again..

Once Ottawa office done with stamping on your passport, you will see an update on your CIC account stating "Your Application is Approved". There will be no COPR letter comes within CIC online account. Once application got approved, within 4-5 days return tracker get activated and you will receive the passport along with COPR in another 1-2 days. Once you get your COPR then you need to do the landing and once you do the landing you can't leave the country until you receive your PR card.

If you have a COPR and if you haven't done the landing yet then you can go on a trip outside of Canada; carry your passport and COPR letter along with you and while returning to Canada, do your landing. This will be an option. But safer side, you can ask/verify with couple of other people prior to this.
