Just called them. they sent back my passport yesterday Probably, yours is sent back too

Did you call CIC? If it is sent back, why tracking is not active? Are you in BC as well?

Yes, I called them in the morning. I am in Ontario. I do not know why the tracking number is no activated. Probably, Canada post is busy these days.

Has anyone used Xpresspost by Canadapost to send their passport recently?
I am living in Ottawa and sending to Ottawa, using the Xpresspost should take no longer than 2 days tbh. However, it has been shipped to a sorting facility in Montreal and Im kinda worried...

It took 4 days for me to send from Ottawa to Ottawa using Xpresspost.

PPR: 14 Dec
Passport copy sent out via Xpresspost: 15 Dec
Passport delivered: 20 Dec

Anyone using Xpresspost, keep in mind of the delays due to xmas now.

I do not know; but the cic agent told me that they sent it back Dec 19th.

Just chat with a Canada post agent, she said that it should be delivered by Tuesday, which I doubt!

passport delivered on Dec 9. Application approved Dec 18. tracking number activated Dec 20 6pm.
These should be processed in batch. So yours were also activated.

Yes, with Canada post because immigration office requires Xpresspost of Canada post.
