Hello,

I submitted my passport last week but need it for travel next week. Quite worried that it will not be returned to me in time for my trip. Has anyone had a similar situation? And were you able to contact CIC to have the application expedited or returned?

Date sent: June 1
Date delivered: June 5
Approved: N/A
Return tracker: N/A

My flight is on June 15

you better rebook your ticket. because you won't get your PR card that fast .... and you cannot get in Canada without it.

I am just waiting for COPR and visa stamp. I think I can still travel and do my landing and PR card when i return.

You can travel as long you have the COPR in hand. But be ready for long waiting and lot of questioning on airport.

My suggestion is be secure with your options always as long it is not an emergency travel.

That visa stamp is just for one entry only and you will waste it while landing and they will cross it with pen. P.R card take 13-20 days the day you landed. Without P.R card you are not allow to enter Canada. if you do not have P.R card then you need Travel Permit which take longer than a P.R card.

It’ll be fine, don’t do your landing here, when you come back you can do that at the airport with your COPR
It’s like normal landing they don’t ask that many questions few of my friends did it

He can enter if he do his landing when he comes back from his trip that’ll be fine
Nothing to worry about that
