But confusion is : it says we started processing your application on 24 February 2015

Why they are letting me know so late

Or this the way Cic works

ECAS is unreliable as far as the dates it shows. From all the watching I've done on these forums over the past year, the only conclusion I've drawn is that an update means someone's looking at your file, but the meaning of the update is usually random. There's no way of knowing how long the next step will take - you can only make your best guess based on someone else who has a similar personal situation to yourself.
