Passport return time from CPC - Ottawa

Hi,

I am currently on a student permit which expires on 30th July 2016. Once my studies were over I applied for the PGWP. As PGWP takes more than 4-5 months, as per last year graduates, I applied for visitor visa as well such that I could travel out of Canada after 30th of July. My visitor visa was approved online in 7 days. But after the approval, I did not receive any email saying when I should send the passport for the visa stamp.

So I printed the screenshot and sent my passport to CPC - Ottawa in a double envelope, one envelope inside the other with return address. Unfortunately I believe I needed to apply for TRV before sending my passport. I wanted to if CPC - Ottawa will return my passport to the address on the envelope inside saying incomplete or do I need to contact them. Also, if they do send it, how much time will it take as I need it by end of the month. I had sent it in 3rd May and it was received by CPC on the 4th. My CFA examination is on the 4th of June for which I need to carry my passport.

You have to log in to your CIC profile and follow the instruction on how to submit your passport,

You need to apply for TRV, I don't know if you apply for visitor record or TRV
