I sent out my passport from the US to Ottawa for landing visa on Oct 8th by UPS, it has been 3 weeks my status is still Decision Made. But when I check my return label today, UPS showed that my label is voided (shipment canceled). I called UPS and the agent said the label is already being automatically canceled and no longer useful, I cannot do anything from my side. I am so desperate now. Does anyone experience the same issue? What should I do now?

My passport returned back to me successfully 4 days later, the second day after I received my passport, the tracking status back to normal and showed “shipped”. I think there was some error with UPS tracking system, but the actually shipping label was still valid. When I called UPS service the representatives told me that the shipping was canceled but it was actually not. How long since you create the shipping label? I think fedex shipping label valid for 30days or something. I don’t think you need to worry to much about it. I contacted CIC and actually sent out another label with a explain letter to them the second day after I found it was voided, but CIC never replied back to me.
Wow. That's a pretty concerning bug to have when dealing with official documents. Thanks for your quick response This gives me hope.
I printed and sent the labels on 2/12. CIC received it on 2/13. My status on the portal updated to "Approved" on 2/17. I will wait to see if CIC can use the label or if I should send a new label.
Emmm... try to call cic first to see if it’s been shipped out. If it’s shipped then I think it should be fine. But If you are very worried, I think you can send out another label with a letter to explain, at the same time also leave a online enquiry to them or send out a email to them with the title “urgent! : ....”
It got picked up without issues the next day and delivered in 1 day. Ottawa to Berkeley.
FedEx seems to very unclear with their customer service as they had insisted the label in cancelled and nothing can be done which was obviously wrong. There was no issue at all.
