Passport resubmission

Hello All,
Even I got the resubmission letter - for damaged passport.
I submitted it again today with new passport. Just wanted to get an idea on the timelines - does resubmission take similar time as the first time submission ? These days it is taking more than 3 weeks in India for stamping. So wondering - if resubmission will be taking similar timeframe.

Hello all,my passport envelopes are returned by IRCC as photos sent in the envelope were not according to the specifications.
I also received a resubmission letter in the returned envelope.
What is the procedure now for resubmit.I am unable to take VFS appointment as according to VFS my PPR is still in process.My PPR will expire on 19 May.
Can I walk-in and resubmit my passport with all the required documents(new photos)
A quick response would be very helpful.

Do we need to take appointment for resubmission or walk-in at VFS is possible.

Hi, I got my passport re-issued. After that, I submitted my new passport with the re-submission letter given to me in by the IRCC in the envelope. After that, I received the stamp on my new passport. I didn't have to file for extension. Keep in mind that you must submit the re-submission with your new passport when you're submitting the passport the second time.

Hi, may I ask what is re-submission letter? My passport was also damaged and didn't get the stamp. In the letter in the envelope, it says: Please don not re-submit your passport until you have received a new Original Passport Request. Although I updated my new passport in the Portal, I haven't got any response. Can I use the old OPR and explanation to re-submit my passport? Thanks a lot!
