Passport requirement for Sponsorship- Canada

Hello,

While applying for sponsorship to my wife who is in Pakistan. Once all the documents have been finalized and ready to be sent to Mississauga I just realized that my wife passport is not there.I am confused about the Passport requirement. Should the passport be sent with the documents or you can apply for passport in Pakistan and the receipt you get can go with the documents to show passport is on its way ? I'm really confused about this ? Please advise

If your question is what I think it is, you need to supply a photo copy of your wife's information page in her passport with the application.

Thank you for your reply. So my wife needs to have a passport then only we can proceed in filling the documents for sponsorship.
