PASSPORT REQUESTED....WOT COULD BE THE DECISON?

I got the passport request on 21 st july, the passport tracking says" is being processed " since 23rd july.

nope.... i applied on 31st na .. so vl get it by 21st

After applying online u get a official receipt which needs to be sent to citizenship and immigration Canada, can anyone tell me where to send it, how and do we have to fill the receipt ?

When I applied online back in May 2014, there was no such receipt which needed to be printed and sent anywhere(Not one which i can remember of). If you made payment online, it should have been confirmed and you can log in to your account using the GCKey and check the application status.

You must receive an email shortly with your file number if your application was submitted successfully and you will be notified by email when there is any update to your application status or you can keep checking the status as emails are sometimes delayed by few hours.

yes i can log in with gc key and i did receive the confirmation email that payment for application and application has been successfully submitted. also received an receipt which says in an message after log in ... in which name of person who paid for application is mentioned and also includes blank columns like client date of birth, client id, address, postal code and telephone no etc,


below its written print two copies of this receipt and send one to citizenship and immigration Canada and keep one for your record ???

What does the application status show?

It says open
