Hi everyone, I am new to the forum so i would like some advice. I am in Canada and is currently been sponsored by my wife, my ecas is currently at Decision Made as i've went through all the prior procedures. I've recently got an email stating that i should pay the ROPR fee of $490 and that i should fax CIC Scarborough a clear copy of my passport, assuming that this is a good sign i am wondering what is the next step and how long will it take for me to landed?

Your next step is to pay your RPRF and fax them a copy of your passport. They will then send you a letter, via snail mail, informing you of your landing date. From what I understand, this can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months, it really depends on the office.

You are at the finish line now, just have to wait to sign the final papers.

I already paid the RPRF and fax them a copy of my passport...but me and my wife will have to be interviewed before they issue my landing docs right?

No. By interview, they mean the landing interview. Don't get overly worried about their choice of wording. They will essentially ask you 3 questions, none of them pertain to your relationship with your spouse and then you will both sign the COPR papers and voila, you are a PR of Canada!

your almost a PR of Canada :) after you sign the COPR you are landed and they send you a PR ID card in the mail. I understand that that is about a 40 - 60 day wait. Congrats!
