Passport requested for TRV, how long does it take to send and receive.

I need to send my passport to be stamped but i already have tickets to travel in 5 weeks. Does anyone know how long to send and receive back the passport?

Mailing time + CIC stamping time.

In Canada using Xpress Post:

3 buisness days + 2 buisness days + 3 buisness days = a week and a half.

My passport reached there on 21st oct by Xpress post, Still waiting to hear anything from them.

Did you receive your passport. My Flight is this Friday and It says Passport Received by the Visa Office - Under Consideration . ANy idea if it can be delivered by Friday. As it will take 2 days to reach me.

I am in the same situation! Sent passport to CIC on the 23rd, supposed to fly 4th.... Don't think its going to happen. I sent it priority and have been tracking it.
Where did you check your status?
