The Canadian Embassy in Bogota Colombia asked my wife for her passport what does this mean??? Was she granted her Residency?
Will they still ask for an interview or does this mean that we can celebrate???

It means they're going to add the PR visa to it and send it back, after which she can land.

I'm in the same page right now...my wife received a call from Bogota yesterday requesting her passport!!, I just can't believe it considering that we first applied on July 1, 2011!!
