Hi, I am applying outland sponsorship. VO in Hong Kong emailed my wife who is in China to send her passport to Beijing a week ago.

1.Does that mean PPR is granted? If so, why does my status on my CIC account is still saying:
"Review of eligibility We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Background check We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information. Help - Background check
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made"

2. Any idea how long do they process the passport?

Have you checked her Ecas yours? If it says DECISION MADE it's good news you have been approved.

like mine, I Have Decision made in my Ecas but Gckey still says Review of eligibility so mostly like have been updated yet.

ecas display decision made. but after I clicked in, it just said medical results received.

I'm wondering too. I have decision made but there's message indicating PPR

Yes, you've passed. GCKey updates after you send in your passport and they issue the visa/COPR. Mine only took 2 business days to process but PA is from different country than yours.

Hello po! Paano po mag final decision made: Your application was approved. Tapos passport request meron na din.. pero po reviewing eligibility at background check processing padin nakalagay. Normal po ba yun? Bukas ko palang idodrop ang passport ko.
