In my case my husband was sent letter for passport June 23rd from Cairo, Egypt Embassy but it was sent back to Embassy undelivered not sure if maybe they sent by registered mail and no one was home but we had no idea until they than called him on July 13th stating to send his passport for the visa and they had told him they received the letter back they sent June 23rd.. we were so shocked it happened pretty fast. He sent passport by courier and it delivered July 15th now just awaiting the return of his passport with Visa so he can come to Canada and we can finally be together.
The trips to Egypt to see each other have costed a fortune over the last year and Im so happy this is now over... but well worth it in the end to be with my husband so so so soon ..
