Passport request

Hi all,

Im hoping you can help. My wife applied via outland through Vienna office so she could stay in Canada. She had a multi entry visa so we decided to go this route because of faster processing times. We finally got passport request today after 9 months of waiting. However, I have some questions on the next steps even after reading the document. Hope you can help!

1) Since she is already here in Canada, will she have to leave and re enter once getting the PR Card?
2) Do we "notify Vienna of a change in address" as it indicates in the letter by writing any updated information on a piece of paper when sending the passport to Vienna? Or how do we let them know that we are living somewhere else?
3) Are the passport sized photos that we sent with our application enough, or do we have to send 2 more photos?
4) Do we need to send the receipt (RPRF) again if we already paid and sent it with our initial application?
5) Is there anything else I am missing? Or is all we need to do is send the passport with a note stating that our address has changed and wait for the card to come?

3. The PRR usually asks for 2 extra photos, it would be wife to send the just as they have asked.
4. Probably they have the information of the RPRF online but sending them the Receipt copy if you have would not be a bad idea

Thanks a lot. Any idea how to ship with private courier? Which one should i use? They ask to provide a prepaid coupon for sending the documents back. They also state that the courier will have to notify vienna by email. Would the courier know how to do this? Can some provide more info? Thanks

No mention. As for the courier thing i will leave it to others who are familiar with the issue

Hi

PPR letters generally state that if a person is in Canada, they can send their passport to Ottawa. If her letter didn't state that, I suggest you contact Vienna and inform them she is in Canada and would like to send her passport to Ottawa.

1. She can flagpole at the border or make an appointment to land inland at an IRCC office (it can take weeks or months to get an appointment).

2. Send a change of address letter with the passport.

3. If they didn't ask for more photos, you don't need to send more.

4. No, you don't need to resend the RPRF receipt.

5. It's not just "send the passport, get the PR card." Once she has her COPR and stamped passport, she has to actually land as a PR.
