Generally, how long is the processing period after you get the PPR? Can you still be rejected once a PPR is received, or is it pretty much set in stone at that point?

That is it. Only way to screw is not sending passport within 30 days. IMO

Once you get PPR then you get instructions in the email to get pictures and attach copy of PPR Mail and send it to visa office. If you're inland then you're looking at no more than 2-3 weeks.

My immigration officer told it is basically said and stone, because all the necessary check have been done
