Passport Request

I recently received a passport request from CIC to finalize my work permit application. When I originally submitted my application I was residing in Afghanistan as a worker and in the main form IMM1295 the country of current residence and country where applying I specified Afghanistan. Meanwhile I moved back to India, country of my nationality. Should I send my passport to Afghanistan or is there a way I can send it to Canada Visa Office in India? Thank you very much.

Your notice should tell you where to submit your passport. My sister worked and submitted her application in Hong Kong. Now, she's back in the Philippines and did receive a passport request. She replied to her email and explained her situation. CIC advised her to submit her passport in HK and NOT IN THE PHILIPPINES. I hope that helps.
