I wrote that I am sending documents, because "passport + biodata + RPRF receipt + photo = documents"... What is silly ?

you could say passport plus other documents so the handle it with care and knows what expect at the border when costumes open the package to check it.
but don't worry if you included the ready for visa letter received from cpp-ottawa,they will know why u are sending it.

Thank for your answer! I included the ready for visa letter.

Actually, I am sending my passport to a friend, who will send it to Ottawa with Canada Xpresspost and another prepaid Xpresspost envelope with his Canadian address.
The reason is that CPP Ottawa does not work with any prepaid courier other then Xpresspost.
So, if I want to keep tracking of my passport coming back from Ottawa, this is the only solution (otherwise, they will send it to US by regular email).
