Hello board-mates. My wife (Brazilian) and I have reached Decision Made status, and we were asked to send her passport for PR visa and COPR. Which we did. We sent her passport to the CPC in Ottawa, since she's in Canada right now.
Does anyone have recent experience with how long it takes to receive COPR and passport back from CPC-Ottawa? We're a little concerned about the potential postal strike, and the unexpected possibility that she may be receiving a job offer relatively soon. She told the potential employer that she can't start work until she gets her passport back, but we actually have no idea how long that takes. (The current popular estimate is about 2 weeks, but we have nothing to base that on.)
