Hello,

I gave my biometrics in Dubai office. How soon I will get the Passport submission request.

I gave on Oct 19 2020. And once I gave the passport how soon I will get it back Visa Stamped.

Does Student Visa has any priority!??

Did you go from India to gave your Biometrics at dubai ? Have they been updated in your gc key portal ?

Yes I was working in UAE Before and applied in India. Came back to Dubai for some purpose so I thought to give Biometrics here and wait else come back to India and send via postal

You applied for the Visa from India? If so, I think you would have to send the passport here in India itself whenever you receive the courier instruction.

Posting your passport outside India , when you are currently in India is a criminal offense and can lead to persecution.
Please read the rules else after getting your visa the custom officers will question as to how it is stamped in Dubai if u were in India.

Can you confirm if passport would be requested in India or Dubai if application filed from India, but biometrics completed in Dubai?

Biometrics can be done anywhere as the request letter suggested. Your passport will be only requested in your residence country which you selected while applying. Don’t worry about it.

passport has to be submitted to the same VAC biometrics is given. other VAC's may refuse. this has happened multiple times within India.

@P@1n and @rijol - both these statements are contradicting. I think I agree with P@1n since it only makes sense to request the passport in the country of residence of applicant.

Rijol - As per the screenshot provided, I guess the medicals and everything else for this applicant was submitted in NY itself, hence got the courier request to send it there and not in India.
