Passport request time after pre-arrival letter

Hi dears,

Kindly note that i am applying for immigration under family class.

I have received the pre-arrival letter on Nov 1 and the application was submitted on May 1 , 2018.

Till now, ghere is no passport request and still waiting.

Any idea how much time does it take knowing that the visa office is in Beirut.

most spousal sponsorship are processed within 12 months.....be patient.....you likely will receive passport request soon

I want to check whether the same office may send pre-arrival letter before about 6 months from the passport request. I knew a friend who recently got the visa just after 2 months from the pre-arrival letter (same visa office) and for me it has been 4 months and a half with no updates yet.
