Passport Request- Spouse is in India

Hi

I have received passport request today. I am in Canada but my spouse is in India.

Should I ask for him to courier his passport to me in Canada or I should ask CIC to arrange his visa in India as they have mentioned, "if you are unable to get your family member passport in North America then let us know."

I am fine with either way. What should I do please advise.

We can not send passport by courier outside India. You can ask for stamping from Delhi visa office.

Submit passport thro VFS India. Generally it takes around 4 weeks.
