hey guys,

this seems to b the right thread for me. we guys have a lot common

i sent my husband's application to cpc - m on 18th nov 09 and they received it the next day. after that i received a letter on 20th dec saying that it has been approed and now the file has been sent to delhi. then on 11th jan we received a letter asking for my husband's passport, landing fee and polic cert. we mailed the passport the same day (fee and police cert. were sent earlier with the app) and they received it on 13th jan. after that we havent heard from the embassy at all. its been almost 6 weeks since the passport was received at new delhi visa office

one thing which is unusual in our case is that the new delhi office started processing our file on 5th jan and the letter requesting his passport had a date of 6th jan which means they immed asked for his passport as soon as they started working on the file. so not sure wats going on :( :(

the wait seems sooooooooo long. i check the online status atleast 2wice a day and it says in process all the time.

pls guys do leave a post here as soon as u receive any correspondence from the embassy. i just cant wait for my husband to get here

wish you all good luck. hope we all receive it soon

Hi Folks,

My wife received the PPR from New Delhi just 10 days after they started processing the application in New Delhi. Our timeline is in the signature.

It certainly is little too fast and unusual. Very broadly, how much time more should we expect from this point on - about 1 month ? 2-3 months ?

Thanks,
A

Average processing time in ND once they begin working on your application is 2-6 months, so your application will fall somewhere in between those times.
