passport request IMM5740 need comment

hy i received IMM5740 from CIC and in this letter they require my passport. I don't understand what that mean?

it means you need to submit your passport to nearest VFS along with this letter for finalization of VISA

It is approved, i got same msg and after submitting passport i got visa stamp on my passport, i applied online on 1st sept, got IMM5740 pasport request on 15th, next day submitted my passport at NEW DELHI which i got back at 22sept.

Yes i replied a year old post, because these ppl never turnedup to explain their experience of above question, same IMM5740 request i got 10days back, i was searching internet ,no where i got answer, that day i decided to answer this question so that others get benifited
