Passport request help needed

Hi,

I applied for PR under CEC and got passport request now. Currently I'm in India. With the help of my US friend, planning to submit my passport with reference letter. Can anyone please suggest during my friend visit in canada consulate, is there any interview will happen or just need to submit my passport and other documents and need to collect it. If they ask some questions means, can you please tell what the questions will be?

There will be no interview. They are requesting the passport for visa stamping.
