Passport Request for inland folks

Hi all,

Just wondering how are you inland folks sending your passport or photocopy of passport in if you are living in Canada?

Given that this is the high season, I submitted my Xpresspost envelope on Sunday, submitting from Ottawa to IRCC Ottawa and it should not take longer than 2 business days tbh. However, it seems to be stuck in Montreal in transit (which is weird) for 3 days now.

Anyone using Xpresspost? How has it been lately for you?

Is it possible to re-send it again with courier like purolator? I know they wouldn't be able to use a PO Box as an address so just wondering.

You can't resend it if it is still in the possession of Canada post. Sadly this is the danger of shipping anything during the holidays.

Thank you for taking your time to respond. Even if I submitted a passport-photocopy and not the actual passport itself is it against the law to re-submit via courier?
