Passport request for dependants who has never been in Canada.

From what I have read on these forums, at the time you get PPR, you will have to send in your passport to the VO and send an explanation letter asking them to make arrangements for you dependants in the country they are residing. Then the VO from that country will contact you asking for your dependant's passports.kyogesh said:

Hmm.. I cannot speak to what CIC customer service said, but based on the cases that other applicants have discussed here on the forum, it took 3 to 4 weeks for the VO to contact them. At the most, I would say you are looking at extra two months for your dependants.
