Passport Request Email No Copr , Descison Made with todays date

I just got an email Saying Ready for visa and asking me to mail my passport in the next 30 days it claims to be from IRCC and has personal info but its not listed in GC Key?
Is this a scam? Is there a chance i am mailing my passport away to get lost or something? Does this mean i am definitely approved or they don't know yet but they need to hold my passport till they decide? I use my passport for alot of things so a little concerned with just sending it in Is there any idea on a turnaround time for this?

I am outland and I got in through a PNP nomination not sure if this matters. I am not sure weather i should send my passport or not. If i wait will a copr or update in gckey or something show up?

Check SPF and other details of the mail. If they are a pass and the email is from cic.gc.ca domain, you are approved.

Also, the passport pickup is organized through VFS, so the above hardly matters.
