Passport request and going on vacation

So here`is a scenario if your are requested to give your passport and your travelling within two weeks time what can you do, should you contact the visa office to notify them and see if you can send the passport in after you have come back. what are the options available. :-\

why don't you post this question to your particular visa office thread...the people there might now usual treatment of your visa office. Does the letter state by when they need your passport? Are you travelling for a long time? Do you really need to travel?

I believe that the deadline is stated on the email regarding the passport request. Probably 30 days. If you can't submit your passport within that given deadline, you should let them know.
