Passport renewed but documents mention old passport details

Hello,

I received my ITA and the deadline is the first week of February 2024. My current passport expires in May 2024 and I have applied for a renewal. I expect to receive the new passport just a few days before the submission deadline, but the current documents that I have prepared, PCC, work experience etc. all mention the soon to be old passport.

Will there be an issue when submitting an application, where the officer might request I get the same documents mentioning the new passport details ? Or should I just submit my application now then update my new passport details through a webform ?

I have the same expiry date too. Got my new passport a few days before my ITA. I used my new passport on the application, submitted all the documents you mentioned that had my old passport details along with a copy of my old passport and explained it to IRCC. Hopefully, it is accepted.
