Visa office asking for passport renewal? What does it mean? ??? We have already done medical. Decision was made. So now they informed us to renew my husband passport. What it meaning? :-[ Last stage before they give my husband a visa ??

your husband's passport would going to be expire and you need minimum 6 months validity on your passport in order to have visa stamp
on your husband's passport, so check passport validity.

Hello ajarupan and yes they will give your husband the visa, that is why they are requesting his passport. As the other poster mentioned, the passport needs to be valid in order for them to do so. As to how long it may take, it really depends on the visa office you applied too. Some are fast others are not, some can be picked up, others need to be sent and returned by courier. The main thing is that you are at the end of the process !! Congratulations and blessings.

Hello ajarupan did you husband receive an e-mail from the High Commission> If so it usually asks for his Passport and a photo and for him to write his eye colour and hair colour. This is how it happens at our Visa Office that is how we know we are near the end. Is this consistent with your VO? If so then they need the passport to insert the visa. Keep us posted. Blessings!
