I have submitted my application in November 2019. Since then, I have passed medical, completed biometrics and my current status shows "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information". Now, my passport is getting expired in 11 months. Is it fine to apply for renewal now or should I wait for PPR?
What worries me is, if I get PPR after say 6 months, then I will be in deep trouble as CIC generally asks for minimum validity of 6 months.
So, can anyone please let me know if it is fine to submit the passport renewal before PPR stage and inform them via the web form? Also, is it fine to send both old and new passport to CIC once I receive PPR?
