Hello, we just received ITA with my spouse as the primary applicant from inside Canada. Her passport has a validity of 8 months. I have 2 questions:
1. Can be there any complications if she sends it for renewal now and it takes a while to get reissued? To our understanding, the original passport is not going to be needed at any point (including biometrics, medical etc), only scanned copies are enough. Is that correct?
2. Also, in case the re-issued passport arrives after we have submitted our PR application, what would be the process to update the passport info?
