Passport renewal after landing- @ India or at Canada - Whichone is better?

Hi friends,

We will be landing next month and family will be back to India after applying PR card.
My family will be come back to Canada at the end of next year.
My kid passport going to expire during Jan 2016.

Please suggest me, any issues if we renew my kid passport at India after they have applied PR application at Canada?

Any issues while they will enter to Canada again with new passport?

Please suggest me on this.
