Passport Questions in the Application for Permanent Residence

Greetings Everyone,

Background: I'm at a very first steps on a path to immigration to Canada. Basically, just filling necessary application forms to send to CIO. I'm the principal applicant filling under FSW program and have 2 accompanying family members, my husband and my daughter.

I have a question on filling app. for Permanent Residence. Page 2 of the application asks to provide some basic info on my family members. The section that stops me is Passport details. The reason why is, 1) unexpectedly, my husband found out that he lost his passport somewhere. 2)my almost 5-year old daughter doesn't have passport or travel document yet. Question: should I postpone filling the application till my husband and child get their passports, or continue filling application and just indicate "N/A" for the Passport details section, since I'm not required to submit their passport copies to CIO and I don't have that info at the moment?

Please advise what would you think be the best way to proceed with?

hi,
no need to postpone sending your application, you can update your application form later when you are asked to resubmit to the visa office. writing " on process " will be enough.
