Passport number update for Student Visa

Hi

I have applied for student visa to canada from India. However, after submission of application, my passport got damaged during photocopying and i have got a new passport. Henceforth my passport number is now changed. Please guide me how should i i get this rectified with Visa office. I am yet to get my biometrics done.
