Passport not available for dependent kid for FSW

Hi,

I do not have passport available for my 9 year old kid (dependent).

My wife has valid passport, we will be applying for his passport shortly.

Can someone please tell if this is acceptable by CIC, by mentioning as applied for?

Hi Friends,

Please let me know, if I can send the application form and mention Passport available as NO for my dependent kid.

He is 9 years old, and in India there is shortage of passports in some cities and its unlikely to get anytime soon.

Please help suggest.

Hello buddy

You cannot send incomplete application. Get the passport first of your child before you apply. It is clear in the instruction to have a complete application package. No exemptions and don't take any chances bud.

I wonder why CIC keeps the option of "Passport available Yes or NO" , they should actually mandate it by not giving this option.
