Passport Lost!!!!!

Hi i tried searching my passport and cant find it anywhere. As because I moved to a new apartment this might have lost my passport...if I apply a new passport and apply the visa without showing my previouse passport then would that be a problem? :'( :'(

I went through the thread, so its mean I will have to file a FIR!! please guide me how to do that...

I would advice u to first look around ur apartment/house for the PP. If still not found then go to the nearest police station in ur aread and report FIR...Then apply for a new PP under Tatkal (if u reside in India), ur PP shud be ready in one week...

i tried finding it everywhere not in my new apartment but also in my office, my mother's home....cant locate it!! I live in Karachi so will I have to go to police station? what would I say to them? would this give a bad impression to my case in CIC?
