Passport Lost and found with valid canada visa

My Name is Priyank Agola, and I am from India. I lost my Passport in Sri Lanka with Valid Canada Visa. I came back to India on Emergency Certificate. After my return I got call from high commission of India from Colombo that someone has handover passport. They couriered the passport to me, to India, with canceled stamp on the passport. I applied and got a new passport. Now I would like to check that my Canada visa is valid for travel which in Old (lost and found) Passport or I have to apply new visa in new passport? Please confirm.

It should be valid, but please double check with IRCC through email, webform, or call.
