Passport is stained/ damaged. Kindly have a new passport issued by the Regional Passport Office and then re-submit the same.

I've submitted my passport for Visa stamping but I got message ( request Letter) from IRCC that my passport was Damaged so they asked me to submit the new passport with resubmission letter.

My problem is I have hardly 10 days it won't be sufficient to submit the new passport within this period of time. Should I have to request IRCC to extend my deadline ? Or will have another 30 days after receiving the request letter from IRCC.

Please answer this as soon as possible.

Are you from India? I'm asking, because there is a possibility you can book an appointment for passport renewal/reissue and request for expedited passport under 'Tatkal' scheme. Ideally, if your documents are valid, you would get the new passport in under a week.

Bro you got your passport stamped how much time it took and after how many days you submitted your new passport and did you uploaded your passport in cic portal
