passport holding over 4 months in CIC office (Singapore)

Hi,

I need some advices as i passed medical, and received the letter for waived interview, paid RPRF and was asked to send passport to High Commission in Singapore. I did send my passport but I have not received the updated news or return my passport.

What's wrong with it? Since i checked with Courier and they confirmed my passport arrived with stamp receipt.

Why don't you contact your local visa office. Your waiting time is exaggeratedly wrong in my opinion. Contact the office and ask. I hope the best for you.

4 months is way too long for CIC Singapore to hold your passport. Meanwhile, you're stuck; you
can't travel at all.

Can you imagine, if you're working in a foreign country(e.g. Vietnam) on a work permit, and you need your passport
to renew your work permit?

Or imagine that you're actually in a country that you CANNOT speak her language and your visa is running out!! hope it works out well for you!
