Hi there, if someone from the group share a template or letter explain how to send repond to ircc through Web form. I got email email from IRCC regarding my one month passport gap. During the gap was actually passport renewal. But I don't know how nicely i should expalin. If someone from the group share a text/narrate about the passport gap expalanation for the web form that would be really great.

How hard is this? IRCC are very familiar with overseas passport applications taking long.

Right, I did the same and it was accepted! Just tell them that you had to renew it

I sent my explanation regarding the passport gap issue for my citizenship application via web form last week. But I still do not get any updates in the citizenship track account. How long does it usually take to update?

I don't even think they update it on the tracker, I had sent my passport gap explanation long ago and later emailed the biological pages but until now I see 'waiting on you, submit additional info' on the tracker. I sent them a webform to acknowledge the receipt of the biological pages and they replied back saying nothing was needed from my side.

Dont worry about it, I am at the exact same situation. Sent the Webform to explain passport gap 2 months ago, never got the status updated in online tracker. I have now got everything completed in tracker and received Oath invite, and on the top of my tracker , it still says " Waiting for additional info!"

So dont worry about it at all! It will stick with you until the very end.

No they dont, I Remember that you answered my exact same question before.. I have the answer now. Got everything completed in my tracker, and received Oath invite, still the stupid "additional doc required" is there..!!!! so it is totally fine
