passport expires two months before program length.

Greetings.
I have a confusion regrading my passport validity.
Everything is done and I am about to apply for study permit this month for September intake.
my passport expires in February 2018 and as per my college offer letter my program finishes at April 2018.
now I am totally confused what Should I do ? Does it will make any effect on my visa decision?
Should I Renew my passport or leave it at this moment as it is and renew it on actual time?
Please respond with best advise .

Don't worry you can only renew your passport before 6 month expiry date . Get your study permit and renew your passport in canada and apply for rest of study permit on new passport . But don't forget to renew your passport before 6 months expiry date .
Rite now you will get study permit until your passport expiry date .
