Passport expires before completion of 3 year work permit

Hi,

So i've a query, that after completion of a course for 2 years we get a work permit for 3 years. But what will be the scenario if my passport expires after just 1 year of work permit. What will be the process to extend the work permit and simultaneously apply for a new passport while being in Canada.

Oh gosh. Following this thread. I got admission for May 2021 and my passport expires in April 2022. I was advsed to renew it in Canada itself

You can extend once you renew your passport. So, renew the passport first, then apply to extend the PGWP, not both simultaneously.
