Final Update Guys: Just received stamped passport and CoPR back from Ottawa along with the original photos sent, all's well that ends well... Good luck to everyone, I sincerely hope all of you waiting impatiently get yours back soon too...

They process US applicant really fast. For inland applicant, we have been waiting for months for returning our passports, but no updates still...

i dont think that is true, my spouse is in States and Kid in Canada, passport for both are with CPC since Nov 16, no update . We called them last friday they said wait till eom before thinking about recalling the passports

I would say it depends on the officer the case is assigned to. I live in the US and my passport was delivered on 12/7, so far zero update whatsoever.

Inland rarely need send passport to my knowledge..majority of passport to Ottawa are from the us nowadays

You are right. No need to. I didn't know it until I called IRCC. I just need them mail my passport back. I got digital COPR alredy after I called IRCC in December.
