Hi everybody,

im checking\filling requirements to renounce permanent residence aplying from abroad. everything seems pretty clear but regarding copy of passport (for example) do they want all the pages of the current valid passport or only the biometrics page photocopied? it just says copy of passport in the document checklist. if you know the answer or have experience with that, please help!

They require all pages of passport include blanks as all passport pages are number. All stamps if not in English should be notarized and translated. Only English and French is acceptable.

Hope this helps.

Hi

Different countries have different requirements. Generally, when it states "passport copy", it simply means the biometrics page. Where are you from?

Incorrect. Some VOs require all pages, some only require the biometrics page.

To renounce PR believe you only need the copy of the biometrics page showing your passport details and passport photo. This is matched to the passport photo you have to attach to the PR renounce form to cross check you are who you say you are. Travel history is really irrelevant to renounce PR.
